My Round Trip - A documentation

May 31, 2006: Chennai to Madurai

• Traveled by Krishna's ticket with a forged DL
• Was actually scared to do that, but managed to do it successfully

June 1, 2006: Madurai

• Attended wedding of Mageshram, my BIM classmate - Chennai roomie
• Distributed 15 cards to friends and one erstwhile member of BIM's faculty
• Boarded train to Mysore in the name of Raja Subramani this time, that too with a confirmed ticket

June 2, 2006: Mysore

• Brushed, Shaved and S**tt*d in the train! (in the exact reverse order in fact!)
• Set foot on the noble land of my city at 10.15AM, took an auto and went straight to Sutti's home by 10.35AM
• Took bath, had breakfast and left Sutti's home to invite school teachers
• 3 cards to 3 teachers
• Proceeded to Ajji mane. Ajji was overwhelmed and has promised to come for the wedding. Oh S**t! I need to book her tickets!
• Mess. Majid's Dodamma was happy to come for the wedding. But said Bangalore was the more viable option.
• Back to Sutti's house. Haagalkaayi gojju-saaru anna. Rasapuri maavinhannu.
• At NIE Placement office. Datta Sir, Anuradha Madam and Raju were expecting Satyam's PPT to happen in the evening. But they gave us a Maaza and spent a valuable 30 minutes with us.
• Mechanical Department. BKS is the HoD. Met KBS, KBR, BKS, PRSR & TJ. TJ came and signed on the register kept in front of BKS and BKS didn't even change his posture. He was sitting like King Akbar!
• Yadavagiri: None of my friends was at home.
• Amith Achchaiah's home. 0821 - 2512702. Sam & KP: you call him.
• Roost. Amith, Sutti and I. Horrible food.
• Back at Sutti's home, watched the First Test for sometime. Slept at the newly constructed first floor at Sutti's home! Amazingly comfortable I tell you! Now I know why this fellow is not taking any offers!

June 3, 2006: Mysore

• Breakfast at Cheelu Anna's house. Only women-folk present. Men folk left for office already!
• Dropped into Shubha Chikamma's house too after that and informed them that I will be there for lunch.
• Back at Sutti's home.
• Both of us then went to Ancy's house from there. Hebbal. She is here for her summer hols! And is attending the wedding! :)
• Vivek's house. Sexy Sony Projection TV he has. He also has a Samsung 5.1 Home theater alongwith that. Watched Matrix - I climax. Breath-taking to say the least!
• Shubha chikamma's house for lunch. Me and sutti.
• On our way to Cheelu Anna's office to meet him, we pass via Sterling theater and Da Vinci Code has released. Instantly Bangalore going plans transferred to next day morning!
• Spend sometime with Cheelu Anna and go back to Sutti's house. Sutti wanted to change his trousers. It was getting tight you see. Just sitting at home and eating!
• Back at Sterling theatre. Vivek, Amith & Shashi shekhar join us from there.
• Two and a half hour torture ends.
• Yadavagiri: Meet one of my friends there. Bangalore presence is guaranteed!
• Southern Star, now renamed as Regalis, Roshan, Rajeev and Vivek assemble there for my bachelors' party.
• 12.15AM back at Sutti's house. Watch some cricket. Go to sleep.

June 4, 2006: Mysore

• Get up at 5.45AM and reach the bus-stand at 6.45AM. Sutti insists on taking the bus. I don't oppose.
• Airawata smashes the distance in 2hrs 15mins with a 15 min break in between. I sleep throughout.

Bangalore

• Tata's house at 10.45AM.
• Breakfast and spend time with Prerna. She talks non-stop! Great energy!
• Pick up Ravi from Diamond District on Prasad's Activa.
• KP's house. Meet a very energised and refreshed uncle. After Vaangi bath, mixture, jhaangri and milk peda, they promise to come for the Bangalore reception.
• Udipi Krishna Bhavan. Shastri and Shrivalli join us for a short lunch discussion about Shrivalli's business forays.
• Sameer's house: Disturb everyone there from their afternoon siesta. Bangalore reception. Uncle was recounting when we met and all that. Sounded very much like my blogpost!
• Went to Balaji's house in Adugodi. My BIM classmate and Chennai roomie. He and his wife weren't at home.
• Went to Harsh's house. Thagaraja Nagar. My BIM roomie.
• Went back to Tata's house. Not before getting 2 Lts into Activa. Don't want Gayathri telling Prasad, "Nimma kaDe avarella iste. Use MaDtare nammanna!"
• Took an auto at 9.30PM. Dropped Ravi at Diamond District. Proceeded in the same auto to Majestic. Rs. 150/-
• Boarded the second Airawata for the day. 11PM sharp departure.

June 5, 2006: Chennai

• Airawata smashes yet again. This time 5 hrs. 4AM sharp in koyambedu.
• I take 15 mins to get down and recover.
• Then take an auto directly to K's home.
• Pick up my bike and proceed to home. While going they insisted on dropping me, so I had to leave the bike there.
• 5.15 reached home. Slept till 8.ooAM.
• 9.15AM reached office.

June 6, 2006: Chennai

• Finished this documentation by 1.15PM today.
• Published post!
